I'd like to have a provider join me in my hotel room while I'm in Paris next week.  I am in a high end hotel near the Eiffel Tower and Paris Opera.  How will a girl get in without interference with staff.  Should I plan to meet somewhere like the bar or lobby?  Will I be asked about a visitor if I walk in to the elevator lobby with her?

Sorry to be such a noob, but I have not been to Paris before.

I have enjoyed the hobby in Paris a few times, though I have not stayed at the Shangri-La (sounds like it from your description). In hotels where the elevator requires a room-key, I have them contact me when the woman is waiting downstairs and I go down and pick them up from the lobby. In other cases the women were flying in to Paris to see me, I picked them up from the airport and we came back to the hotel together.

I have never experienced any interference from the staff. One hotel I frequent is very high-end and the staff were trained to learn the names of all the guests and call them by it. They asked me when my wife would be arriving, I said it was my 'GF' and told them when I would be picking her up from the airport. She stayed with me for two days and left. Then when my 'second GF' arrived to stay another two days I imagine they knew what was up, but they were not any less courteous and did not interfere in any way. Worth noting the hotel in question had an extensive security staff.

In all instances I had full pictures (including faces) of the providers and hence there was no problem recognizing them in a public place. So far full pictures seem to be standard operating procedure in Europe for me.

More importantly how are you choosing girls in Paris? Agency ?  I'm heading there in couple weeks and really wish I was going to Germany or Switzerland so I could hit a club.  Are there any hotel bars where you can pick up working girls like you see in say Singapore or even some spots in NYC?  

Most agencies operating in Paris (the reliable ones anyways) are Russian. The women fly in and out and there is high turnover. I initially used this and outcalls were about 150/hour + cab fare. I usually indulged in 4-hour dinner dates. The women were pleasant enough but the private time was a bit mechanical. Plus the pictures on their websites are heavily photoshopped, but the women I met were the women in the pictures, I would rate them from GND to GND+. Its fine, just not the glossy supermodels the website made them out to be. They are more suited to 1-2 hour appointments where you want to be serviced and not really looking for companionship.

After using them for one trip, and my research not yielding any other reliable providers locally, I started using agencies from neighboring countries (Germany, Belgium...etc). Some of them had providers who lived a few hours from Paris would take the train in (minimum appointment time was about 6 hours), or would fly them in from other countries. These were elite providers in every sense, and I continue to see them since I go to Paris 3-4 times a year for business. For these kind of encounters I usually book them for 2 days for about 4,500.00+plane tickets (usually about 300).

I don't really know if I can provide agency names in this post since I am unfamiliar with TER rules.

Thanks ballpark.  I was in Amsterdam last week and hit club LV it really blew my mind as they upgraded girls from years back. I really prefer looking at 10-15 girls chatting and making choice based on how I feel in the moment.  Like a bar scene in a parallel universe.  Your approach to Paris sounds neat but outside my scope. I like to bring $1500-2000 in local currency on a one week trip and indulge at that level.  I might try the Russian agency route as I have a friend on trip and just want to indulge on the ladies for 2 hour thrills.

If that is the case I can recommend Olga's Angels (you can google it). They don't have as large a roster as the others but usually there was 3-4 providers in Paris at a time. Looking at it right now I only see one though. They update frequently so keep an eye out. Communication was easy and the ladies were on time. You can chit chat with them but they will not forget why they are there and after a while they will take the initiative to move things along (at least that is what I saw from the two providers I saw). If you are playing background music during the session, having a few songs from russian performers (e.g. Serebro) will surprise them nicely.  
Also fair warning I have not used them since 2012.
