While suturing a cut on the hand of a 75 year old rancher, who's hand was caught in the gate while working cattle, the doctor struck up a conversation with the old man. Eventually the topic got around to Palin and her bid.

The old rancher said, "Well, ya know, Palin is a 'Post Turtle'."

Not being familiar with the term, the doctor asked him what a 'Post Turtle' was.

The old rancher said, "When you're driving down a country road you come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that's a 'Post Turtle'."

The old rancher saw the puzzled look on the doctor's face so he continued to explain. "You know she didn't get up there by herself, she don't belong up there, and she don't know what to do while she's up there, and you just wonder what kind of dummy put her up there to begin with."

From the comedy theory that all jokes evolve from seven original jokes, or in this case an old joke perfectly rewritten for 2009.

Frankly, this joke could apply to Mr. Obama at this point.

"Joke" and "Obama" are synonymous. The sad part is the joke is only going to get worse.

There I think that is a little better and much more accurate.

And, I guess you're saying that a strong majority of the American voting public is the "dummy" that put him there. A belief is a belief is a belief!

Mostly--actually as ole Bush was not a very good pres people were looking for a change and were blinded by a good teleprompter. The people that voted for him were die hard Democrats, flaming liberals, welfare recipients, people that were totally ignorant of thier own candidate, illegals and the pushed on by the people that make money off of a give away goverment. I am in a state with ole Give It Away Duvall--he did the same as his but Obama-promise all kinds of tax savings to the ignorant-gets into office and gives everything away. He is trying to top Chicago politics. His approval ratings right now are lower than 10%. He has less than 2 years to go on his first term--he will not run again BUT will be appointed to a very high level with his bud Obama.

Just because I am considered a closed minded, bible thumping, low class, marginally educated, Tundra Trailer Trollop doesn't mean I am not ready to run the country.  

Besides, I couldn't fuck it up any worse than "W" already did!
