So is it true if you’re filming it’s making movies and not prostitution?

I have been in the unique position to be able to film sessions for others recently. I have had camera experience as a behind the scenes camera girl on porn sets so I know my way around the room. I was just thinking and wondering about the irony of its not illegal if you film it. Well, here is what Google AI had to say....    Paying someone to have sex on camera is legal if the intent is creating an artistic or entertainment product. However, the line between acting and prostitution is highly regulated, and courts look closely at whether the payment was for legitimate acting/licensing rather than just a transaction for sex.

I can attest that all actions  I filmed were exceptionally ARTISTIC!

You would have to show that you are running a legitimate business.   That means permits, filings with all manner of governmental bodies, tax issues, insurance issues, and so forth.

This so called loop-hole is ballyhooed every now and then, but it never has and never will make sense when all you have to do is practice the basics of protecting yourself as espoused on this site over and over.

I feel that it is only right to inject some levity here, especially as it ties in to the "loop-hole" theme of this thread.

It seems that a young lady was run into court on a charge of prostitution but was let go when she explained that she was not selling sex, but rather selling condoms and giving a free demonstration.
