As it so would happen, there was a severe storm that had downed power lines, flooded roads, etc. An older man was driving down a section of a backroad when he saw a young gal that was stranded. She flagged him dow and told him that her car had gone off the road and that her cellphone was run down so she couldn’t get a signal. She asked the older guy if he could help her and of course he said yes. They continued on but the storm got worse and worse and it was getting difficult to even drive.

Finally they spotted a small motel ahead and agreed to stay there for the night. Well, as fate would have it, the motel clerk told them that there was only one room left and that it only had a single bed. Having no choice they took it and the older man told the young woman that she could have the bed and that he would curl up in the chair in the room. They both dried off and got ready for bed. After a while the young gal said to the man “You know this bed is a bit small but I think we could share it.” “Really?” said the old man, and so he climbed into bed beside her. Not long after, the young gal, being impressed by how much of a gentleman the old man had been said to him “You know, we could pretend we’re married.”  

With that the older man said “Well, OK. I’d like that.” He then farted loudly and rolled onto his side to go to sleep .
