There was a terrible plane crash in Bubba, Daryl and Gomer’s neighborhood.  Many people on the plane and in the neighborhood were killed; and, several people, including Bubba, came up missing.  After a week almost all the bodies had been identified; however, there were several unidentified body parts, including one head, left over; and, several people, including Bubba, were still listed as missing.  The medical examiner decided to let neighborhood residents view the left over body parts, including the one head, in hopes that they might be able to identify who they belonged to; and, eventually Daryl and Gomer came in to look at the parts.  

Daryl pointed at an arm and said, “That arm belongs to Mr. Beauchamp, I recognize the tattoo on it.”  Gomer pointed at a leg and said, “That’s Bobby Angelle's leg, I’ve seen that scar on his shin many times.”  When it came to the head, though, Daryl and Gomer stared at it for many minutes; then, just shook their heads and left.

Next day all the body parts had been identified, except the head.  Daryl and Gomer came back in to view the head, looked at it for a long long time, then just shook their heads and started to leave.  The medical examiner stopped them and said, “You guys seem to think that you might know who that head belongs to.  Do you?”

Gomer said, “Well, it sure do look a whole lot like Bubba; but, Bubba was a whole lot taller.”
