Since the move to Arlington, DFW airport is by far the closest.  The old Tx Stadium would have been right in the middle between the two airports but alas no longer.  The new stadium is now so close to the airport you fly over it in your approach from the south. lol

Not as many hotels in the area to choose from as you would have had in Dallas although I am sure they are popping up all over the place now in preperation for the big week in Dallas.  Because of that I would highly suggest you book now as I know that they are already jacking the prices up for that week.

I've got my tickets home to party and play...now I just need to find the partners! :)

Have fun it is going to be a blast no matter who meets up for the big one!

I just won the right to purchase Super Bowl tickets from the NFL. I have never been to Dallas so I am reaching out to anyone who can offer any advice. Is it better to fly into Dallas Love field or Dallas Fort Worth. How far is the airport from the stadium and any reccomendations on where to stay.
Thanks for any help in advance.

Since I will be home for 10 days in both Nov and Dec and then again for the SB I just can't justify it.  Now if I get a request for a date then perhaps but not on my own at this time sadly as I would love to see them play those damn Yankees at home just once.

DFW will be a lot less hassle to get to/from than Love Field if you plan to stay near the stadium. I also agree that you should book your hotel ASAP! There isn't as much to actually DO in Arlington, but it's pretty much just a straight drive north from the stadium (20 minutes if traffic is nice ... so plan on 45 minutes, haha).

If you decide to stay outside of Arlington/in Dallas and want to see more of Dallas proper, and don't mind a long drive on game day, go with Love Field.

There's also the option of flying into DFW and getting a hotel in Fort Worth. Fort Worth is a fun city (I'll take their downtown nightlife over Dallas's any day), and you may get a better deal on a hotel.
