So I was going through my photos the other day, when I came across one that looked a little different than I expected. I don't remember anything out of the ordinary occurring when it was taken, and I could swear that it wasn't there before!

No mystery...  It's *always* been there, just lurking in the background (or, more accurately, foreground) Beware, these things are very tricky and must be handled just right.  They're sometimes elusive, but once kissed properly, become your friend forever.  Looks like summer is over though; it's sporting its winter coat.  (sigh...)

...if I want to kiss that -- a little too much facial hair!
