I have a few adds up in the other cities that I am touring, and my ads in boston, vegas got 500 or more reads and even in Chicago my ad got 200 reads...then I looked at the ads up in dallas and the most I saw for any one provider was 100, so anyone have an idea why it appears the hobby scene has done such serious settling down? its not like its freezing cold or snowing anymore(we hope) lol
In many markets TER is the dominant board, and THE place to advertise, Dallas just isn't one of those places.
As you can see, there are a few of us here, but nowhere near as many as Atlanta, Vegas, or Chicago. I have lived here in Texas for a few years now, but I still consider Atlanta my "home board"
One thing I think you will find here in Dallas, and I am sure the ladies will agree is that the mongers on the "other board" here in Dallas, those guys have a reputation for being a bit on the cheap side and ladies at your price point, even super hot ones like you, tend not to get a lot of action from that site. I am willing to bet you get most of your bookings here in Dallas from P 411, and I am sure that with looks like yours, you manage to keep your dance card as full as you want
I will confess using it as a research tool, especially as many Texas ladies have their reviews there linked to their P 411 profiles. I have been a member over there since well before their name change several years back, but I have never posted much on their discussion boards, unlike the blabber mouth that I am here on TER.
This is great advice! Thank you for posting this. Are there any other ways to target the upper class? Well, not so much the upper class, but the type of man who understands the value of the company of a pretty lady. I have no interest in haggling with the "mongers" or men looking for deals and quickies.
Spending a lot of money on high-quality photos and a professional website (not a free one) is a good way to attract gentlemen who value paying extra for a more professional service. The content you release sends strong messages about you and what kind of business you are running. Cheap or free pictures and website do not send the message that you take your business seriously to invest in it, nor that you are worth the higher rates that you are charging and regularly receiving them. for example, if you are charging $500/hour and receiving it regularly, why would it be a problem for you to spend $2-3K on professional photos and a professionally-designed website?
PS. There's nothing wrong with amateur photos and websites. I started off on BP with really bad selfies and no website. The higher quality web content has played the biggest role in attracting higher quality clients. Oh, ALSO, turn off PM's on ICKY* and only accept inquiries by email. It has changed my world in TX, in such good way!! Also, simply charge more. Let your prices be firm and non-negotiable. Don't respond to incomplete inquiries and hagglers. Don't run specials or give discounts. It'll work itself into place, and your clientele will change. Good luck.
