Another regular poster and I were talking last night (that's Thursday the 16th of April, to you and me kids), about the fact that the boards--in fact facets of the entire site were down, for a time. We finally gave up, from our prospective sites in remote parts of Texas, and decided to try again in the morning...

Concerning the "unmoderated" state, er, status: yes, it's been a boon! I'm fairly sure this thread was begun (by me, as it were) on a Sunday morning, around 9am, when everything just slowed down to a crawl, at least for me. What price this immense technology, eh? Go figure.
