I've always disliked having to scroll through ads to find the (sadly few) regular discussion posts. I enjoy reading some of the ads, but I think this will help the regular discussions not fall off the first page so fast.

Ad posts will no longer be allowed on regular Regional discussion boards on TER please take note of these changes.

We have created new Regional sub-forums for provider ad posts only. Any provider ad post that is posted to the regular Regional board will be moved by the moderator to the Regional Ad posting board. Also, regular posts will not be allowed on the Regional Ad posting boards.

The ad posting Regional boards can be found in the same drop down menu as the rest of the Regional boards.

Please do not hesitate to contact the moderator of your board if you have any questions or you can contact the Staff by using the "contact us" link at the bottom of the page or by Pm'ing the infamous FFP.

I think it is great that the Ads are separated now, but I was wondering about the accuracy of the stats on the Ads?  I know normally 150 - 250 hits on an Ad in Dallas can be the norm after about a week and now with just a couple of Ads posted in the new section there seems to be a HUGE increase in the traffic hit count on the Ads.

Is this a glitch or did ter expand their advertising to promote the new forums or?  I only ask because the difference is so extreme and a little exciting if those numbers are correct.

I believe the numbers to be a fallacy.  While the hits are definitely up, the programmers at TER have been carefully monitoring the changes and as such, the ad hit counts have increased.
