Contact Alice anywhere who now works in Austin.  She is a top notch provider who might give you some great insight into the area.

Keep in mind, TER is not the main board in the south so you most likely will not get much response here.

Austin definitely has its plusses and minuses. I do think a top notch provider could do well here as, in my serching for somebody local, I could not find somebody that matched what I wanted (who didn't turn out to be a scammer).

I was really surprised, when I started looking, how slim my options in Texas were. Call me choosy or maybe I just didn't know where to look, but I finally decided to find somebody out of state rather than hooking up with somebody local.

Sara is right. ASPD.net seems to have a big Texas contingent, much busier than TER. The reviews there are different and too many reviewers seem to fancy themselves as theatre critics more than play-by-play announcers.

Finally, as the state capitol, Austin has a wild card. Every other year, the legislature is in session which means plenty of wealthy powerful guys showing up to do "bidness" and possibly get some action on the side. But the added attention means that the local vice squad probably stays busy. A few legislators have been caught in stings around here.
