Very practical question - surprised that no one has raised it before. But, as was said, it's probably more of a social "crutch" rather than a probing, personal question. So answer back with a social answer.
Was he asking about whether work was busy or just asking if you had a busy day in general. Just assume they mean in general, and respond accordingly without mentioning anything related to work, since that is really none of our business.
My day is as busy as I like it. I am usually at my in call location in Oak Brook from Monday - Thursday and see one two two "friends" a day as I like my free time to do whatever else I want. My days are just the way I like them and I can spend as much time and get to know everyone on my time. Everyone is happy. Then my days are always busy. On days off ~~ relaxing or doing regular things that everyone else in the world is ~~ laundry, dishes, etc. Tell them what you want. Let them ask. No harm done. Everyone is different! Just have fun! Love Zana

What on earth is the right answer to this? "Yeah, a couple guys were ahead of you in line..." or "Nope, I'm not very popular."
I've been saying something about catching up on shopping, which sounds so idiotic... Better suggestions?
