I miss the posts by Sinthia and Giselle. This is enought to make me consider not renewing my VIP status.

If you want bad daily jokes or posts that have nothing to do with the hobby, go to Facebook.  This board should be about discussing the hobby with an occasional diversion thread.  A frequent joke here and there is fine, along with well done theme threads [Full Disclosure - I don't like theme threads at all since the same pics get used over and over].  

Instead of complaining, be part of the solution.  Start a thread on a hobby topic.  I for one enjoy the threads where members warn others about shady ladies and practices.  Sinful's posts about hobby pointers are fantastic.  Threads where opinions are taken about hobby topics are also welcome.  Just remember that this is a hobby board.  I don't go to the ESPN message boards to discuss politics.

I used to do really good Theme Day threads like twice a week....interesting ones!!! Smack Ass Thursdays.....Let's F*ck Fridays....etc.....I said I was going to start back....maybe I will this week!

I pop in from time to time. Seems like alot of people retired or just aren't on TER anymore. I used to be sooo addicted to this site nowadays I pop in like once or twice a week.

I come to this board for info on the hobby, and to see what providers are in town or posting a schedule. Chi Town is correct, this board serves a purpose for the HOBBY, AND NOT SELF INTEREST OR PROMOTION.

I concur. Off-topic posts occasionally are fine, but this board is about the Chicago Hobby. There are other boards if you want to socialize... Personally, I get bored when there aren't any (new) ads from ladies I'd be interested in seeing over the course of a given week lol Also, I'm hoping we get more PS in the 20-30 range visiting because I'd like to see one as a holiday present to myself. But, that's hobby boredom and it's okay!

However on this I concur. This board is for you gentlemen- the hobbyist. It is for your information and discussion of hobby related topics. It is Not for "look at me posts" that are irrelevant to the HOBBY at hand.

Give us a sexy pic of YOU, not a Utube vixon. TmZ can do that. I haven't started my own post for a while- the reason? Because this is not MY board... It's yours the hobbyist. It is to share information, to keep each other safe and to make sure you are getting what you expect. Do I always agree? Of course not. However I am much more particular about my comments and speculations than before. The reason behind it is simple- I say what is important, and NOT what has been said 10x's before. I don't post to read my own responses and I contemplate my posts as much as possible before I hit send. I an not 18 years old so I try not to write like one.

Give me the ads, give me the pics, give me the well thought out questions and inquiries. Keep the "typing to see myself type" fluff on your personal blogs. I'm computer savvy so if I want to see a video I'll find it on my own. I AM an adult.

Rant if you want- you know it has weight.

It's become a suck-up board full of false compliments and other drivel, but I think what you post is spot on. You don't have to agree with CTP, but I've never seen him put malicious BS on the board. Nor have I seen him put out mindless and inane junk.  You don't have to agree with his point of view and I am sure many don't. But I'll take his quality of information over some mindless videos or esoteric songs from a group I've never heard of or will ever listen to for that matter.

The board should be about sharing information, but it's dominated by ads, suck-up compliments, and occasional dust-ups when people do put accurate information. The OPs get attacked because they told the truth or their version of it.  If the ladies post ad and pictures and tell a funny story or two, there is nothing wrong with that. In fact, it's an opportunity to let others know about their personality which other than a pure advertisement is a way to become known. You should post more and not give a damn who disagrees with you.
