Yep, we've had a Ferris wheel since, hmmm...about 1893!  Not this one exactly, but Chicago had the first wheel anywhere.
You should take a ride on it even though it's a tourist trap.  Beautiful views.

I have to confess, I'm a sucker for tourist traps. That kind of campiness is so cute to me. I'm that asshole on road trips who insists upon stopping at the janky petting zoos along the highway.  

I stare out the window at that thing every day and drive by it all the time... Ans quite frankly, have never thought to ride the damned thing. Duh lol.  

But yeah, storms & Ferris wheels ... Not a good mix lol

Giant ball of string- check. Wall Drug - got the bumper sticker. Wisconsin Dells, Pigeon Forge, Key West - been there, done that, got the t-shirt. Making out on Chicago Ferris wheel - yep. Not exactly mile high club but pretty fun. Of course, love to rock the car with some super sexy tattooed blonde hottie. If only I could find one....
