No, probably not a good idea, but if you have to ask, it may not really matter.

In case you are serious and not just looking for attention,  "It's a gift to myself, isn't it?" makes absolutely no sense at all.  Its not your birthday.  Its not Christmas.  So its NOT a gift to yourself.

And there aren't many wives out there that would be understanding about your going out on; your wedding anniversary, her birthday, valentines day, etc.

Spend your anniversary with your wife.  If you want to treat yourself, do it on another day.  Otherwise you may not have to worry about what to do on future anniversaries...

If you hobby because sex is the one thing missing from an otherwise wonderful relationship, don't risk screwing up on your anniversary. If your marraige is already on the rocks, why worry about it?

Only you can evaluate your situation. Only you can evaluate the risks you take.

Are you stuck in your marriage, or do you care for your wife?  If your stuck, I can understand the way you phrase your statement.  If you care for your wife, it does come of rather crass.  Just my opinion.
