I was wondering if anyone can help with a question I have about the hotels around Midway airport. Are there any hotels around there that require a keycard to ride the elevator?

most of the motels around midway are cheap 2 floor buildings, the only one ok one is western inn but you dont the keycard...

The major hotels are located about 1 mile
south of the airport
not sure about the key cards for elevator, sorry

I would call the one you may be interested , mention you are traveling to the area , concerned about security , and ask if key card is required to operate elevators

No CCW in Chicago at all but there's hope. A recent federal court decision ordered the city to come up with a law allowing CCW. Look for lots of restrictions.

But at the cluster of national chain hotels south of the airport, there shouldn't be any problem.

Unfortunately I think they will come up with a New York style law where concealed carry is theoretically possible but not realistically so unless you are a jeweler who carries around diamonds and cash.

We will know sometime this summer, but you're probably right.
