I guess we've had a lot of newbies on the board lately. First thing is to go to the FAQ for Newbies board (look to your left, no the other left).

If you are posting an ISO, do not use an alias. No one knows who you are and it raises suspicions.

If you are posting an ISO and have no reviews and have not contributed significantly to the boards, again it raises suspicions. (I still don't understand why some providers always answer these posts.)

Just use common sense, if someone is prowling CL, CV or BP, and the provider has no reviews, do not come here looking for answers. If there are no reviews, why look here? This of course assumes that we are all looking out for one another (hence-Community) and an experienced reviewer would post for a new provider.
Some guys are very good at sensing if a new provider is legit or not. I am not, I seek safe encounters and choose experienced providers.

I work hard for my money, and avoid wasting it on inexperienced and questionable providers. But if you have the cash to throw around and want to have you picture in the paper, by all means take all the chances you want.

And that is why I have never and will never use an alias to say what I have to say. I stand behind my posts 100%.
As far as ISO posts, I understand some would like to get an answer to their question without using the search function. But like bean099 said, do not post ISO using an alias. The responses will be a few to none at all.
As far as money goes, everyone works hard for their money but the problem is that everyone looks at money differently. I am a type of guy that carefully watches where I spend my money.

I must say that sometimes ladies have different handles on TER then what name they use. For instance a ladies handle could be SexySally of TER and her working name is Sally Sander. (hey, don't knock me for the names, I'm trying here. lol.)
That being said, I can see why a guy might ask on the board when he can't find reviews.

Drumroll...BUT using an alias to ask isn't going to get the question answered. I agree 100%.

This alias is to avoid the personal fight, (say what you will, I couldn't care less) but others use them for lots of reasons and it is not for you to say when! The site allows them, enough said. The community will decide how effective we let them be.

Newbies don't always have the time to lurk first before learning - or possibly contributing for that matter. They also have every right to post whether an alias or not!

While everything you say is true for most of the 'regulars' on this board, let someone figure it out for themselves when they don't get replies. If you don't want to waste your time then don't click on the thread!

As another poster noted, alias ISOs still get replies - enough said here as well.

Newbies may raise suspicions, let them. Just don't click and your problem is solved. But if they ask about a questionable provider and someone does give them advice (either way) then something has been contributed to the community in spite of your overly arrogant opinions!

When you get to CTP's level of contributions maybe I'll take you more seriously, until then keep your advice to yourself!

Ouch! I don't think he meant to be preachy. The thing about this site is: let it be. People have assholes, elbows, and opinions. What makes the grade for you won't necessarily make it for me and vice-versa. What I find all too often is people get their noses out of joint for little or nothing. Context is often the key. Sometimes, even our most innocent posts are taken in a way that doesn't sit well. I get that. Bean can be a little touchy himself, but I watched his posts for sometime and he rarely gets his nose out of joint and when he does, take him to the woodshed. In this case, I read it more as a pet peeve and not like he was yelling fire in a crowded theater. My. .02.

Which is why he posts behind an alias.
I hope he reads his own message, if you want to slander behind an alias you've made my point.
