Yeah, yeah, I know...who needs another stinking blog?!?  Hopefully folks with my tastes. Every month or so Over the last few years I've travelled to a new town to sample exotic eats and erotic women. Decided to finally write about it. Hitting up Chicago first over MLK weekend and am looking for suggestions for eats and treats!  Eats...love Latin, charcuterie, any kind of exotic pork or fish dishes (i.e.no tofu). Treats...I'm pretty damn open-minded!  I don't plan on giving provider names unless they explicitly would like me too.

Help a decadent, Epicurean brother out, Chicago!!!

I can save you $500/hour.

40+, cbj, no kissing.

Put that in your book.

Some great restaurants though. Good luck!

There's a place in the city called Carnivale - great atmosphere with a little flare, solid Latin food. I would recommend.

If you haven't had Chicago style Pizza I would recommend Giordanos. Unos is also good.
For a Chicago style hot dog - hit up Hot Dougs - close to the Wrigleyville area.
A good breakfast place - Walker Bros - located in the north and west burbs of Chicago. There is a location by Northwestern (Evanston) area. They have some damn good pancakes.
Dessert - I would go to Grand Lux on Mag Mile. I'm a big fan of their desserts. Ghiradelli's is a good spot to hit up as well. In terms of local dessert places - I would try Donut Vault and Glazed & Infused. Great places to grab some doughnuts.

Hope that helps

I really LOVE the travel channel. My favorite was No Reservations with Anthony Bourdein. His books are fun to read too. Bourdein has another show titled Layover which is fun to watch as well. The Travel Channel has some other great shows with regular hosts and whenever I watch I want to travel and eat.

They have the best jobs.  I would read your blog!

To my Epicurean brotha from anutha mutha.

All these restaurants have incredible food.  Of the 3, Province is probably the best kept secret in Chicago.  Enjoy your time here and good luck with the blog.

To all who helped either publicly or privately. I know this will come out patronizing, but I love Chicago and its people. The itinerary is just about complete and I should make my first post in a few days. Then ya can decide if you'd like to follow or if I'm a complete hack. Thanks again and can't wait to be there in a week and a half...
