To which I had to say "well if you see the rate why ask?"  and hung up

What happens is that the "gentlemen" in question either no very well what the rate is but choose to ask as part of negotiation process or probably calling just every lady listed on eros and don't do due dilligence.

They definitely know better than to push those buttons Victoria. If they are legit hobbyists, then hopefully someone will clue them in on simple ettiquette. Hard to believe someone could negotiate a website and also review sites, and still not understand where to spot rates & other more sensitive information.

Maybe it is due to the fact that your website uses sophisticated language like "Honorarium"...  Not everyone may have an understanding that it means rates... lol.

The guys know better than to conduct themselves in such manner. It's a like a common rule to not speak explicitly via phone....everyone knows that!! It's definitely rude, uncalled for, and definitely deserves a hang up! There are simple rules that everyone goes by, and that's definitely one of them!

Hi Victoria....Welcome to Chicago and it is a shame that some of the gents here act like morons.  As other posters have indicated...a hang up is appropriate in this case.  The question of "why" is more difficult to explain..and I would have no explanation as to anothers actions.  Your site is exquisite and easy to navigate and understand.  It is clear and concise...and very well thought out.  For a gent to not understand how to read it would imply that this is probably someone you should steer very clear of.  And if they have trouble with your site...your TER reviews are quite self explanatory.

I have seen several of your lady friends (Eve, Audrey and Renata) and I can only assume that the circles you travel in are the same...and anybody who sees you will be very, very lucky!!

As you can see from this board, there is a continuous influx of new hobbyists.  Also some who have found their way to Room Service, but not to TER.  These guys really do not know the rules.  They ask "how much" although it is clearly on the lady's site.  They ask about "what is available" as they have not made it to TER and they do not know about reviews.  

I nicely, yet firmly, explain that my website contains more than just my photos and my contact info.  Some become insulted and I never hear back.  Others actually go back and read my website.

These relative newbies may have been ripped off booking multi-hour appointments with a provider (who if they knew about reviews they would not have booked.  They paid for 2 hours and found that it was "one and done.". Or, they found there were "up-charges.". So they ask dumb questions so that they can prevent a repeat.

If only we could steer them all to TER Chicago and the newbie board!

I doubt that the veteran hobbyists who are TER members are the ones who are "breaking these unwritten rules of communication.". At least I hope its not.

There are two different types of people out there...  There is "old school" and "new school".

"Old" school is what we are all so used to... No B.S., no paranoia and just straight up good times (this includes hobbyist AND providers) everything used to be a party...

"New" school... GFE, PSE (may I ask??? What's the difference? Oh, I know about $100, but either way you get the same thing)... TOFTT, CIM, BBBJ , kidding me???  Can't even keep up, anymore. (All new school)...  Right Bff, LOL
