I am very new to this. I would like to get a hotel room in downtown to meet with a girl. Booking online can get me great rate, but it requires credit card payment and my wife may find out. On the other hand if I pay cash in hotel the rate is much higher.
Does anyone have a good way to resolve this?

1.  See a girl that provides incall in the downtown area (there are lots of them, use the TER search tool to generate a list.

2.  Buy a Visa or Mastercard gift card.  Your bank should have them.  If not, I think Walgreens and Wal-Mart sell them.

Don't forget to register it. Most cannot be used for online or phone purchases (which includes hotel) unless they are registered.  

Follow the directions on the card. You may have to register the card by telephone or online.
