We can build the table just 18 to 24 inches higher, then you could sit in a comfortable chair, one that reclines a bit on rollers with a pneumatic height adjustment. A decent office desk chair with no extended head rest would work. To accommodate the higher table a small set of steps or even just a short ladder would suffice.
