I have found my writing stolen by this agency, that is based in Chicago. I have written them and told them to remove my writing and informed them that I will NOT tolerate plagiarism! It would be my guess that if they are stealing ad content, perhaps you should be weary of other fake content by this agency.

The plagiarising Agency:

My own website that they lifted content off of:

Starting to dislike all agencies anyway...no offense to the good ones, of course, but it is a bit more hassel on my end dealing with them.

The whole process takes about 5seconds.
The kind of person who steals content is not going to care about ANY facts being straight...
And I'd still be furious even if they edited the eye color.

is not respected around here. There have been numerous reports of B&S so it's not surprising they'd steal content. And it's not just this agency stealing content and pictures, this happens all the time with BP ads and provider's who are less than legit. Sorry this is happening to you, but this biz brings out the sleaze balls.

It's good that you brought this to our attention. It's a reminder to hobbyists who are considering using this agency about what and whom you're dealing with. Less than honest and not quite legit.

I would place Apropo near or at the top of that list.  Plus, many agencies asks the lady to provide descriptions and don't write them for the ladies.  I don't like plagiarism, but it is a form of flattery for someone to steal your creativity word for word.  I believe the provider liked what she saw and simply stole your efforts.  She should have done more research to come up with a description of her own.  Don't judge all agencies for this.  I would question the agency (blondesetc) if they don't have the description changed as they may not have had any idea that the description was stolen from you.

My brain is a naturally creative brain. My writing rolls off my brain as easily as honey off a hot spoon. When I create something, I get the thing polished in perhaps 30 minutes max. However..... how long exactly does it take for an agency to go cyber hunting for an ad they want to steal? I can only imagine that the time it takes to find MY AD would be either several hours or even days. The amount of time they spent in finding an ad to steal content.... was time they could have written something original. Who cares if it is boring. Whats important is it is original and not stolen content.
They still have not taken my writing off their website, even after I sent them an email telling them to remove it. That shows you how little they care about their reputation.

Agencies and providers with sleazy reputations couldn't care less about stealing content. They probably can't write a paragraph to save their lives so when they see something well-written, they take it. It's not about taking the time for them, it's that they can't do it at all. It's about making themselves look classy because they have no class. It's about doing it quickly before they get caught.

Posting the agency name and link does more good than asking them to remove the content. Unless you get a lawyer to threaten them, they won't remove it. Porn stars have this problem all the time, content theft is rampant in the porn industry. Successful porn stars have powerful attorneys who generate cease and desist orders using threats of lawsuits. Get an attorney to threaten them. If they have an legitimacy whatsoever, they'll pull the content immediately.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, they're only jealous and not as creative as you are! They couldn't even write a paragraph bio!

I'll tell you what. After I left the scene, I had my entire site plagiarised word for word. No, I take that back. She couldn't claim to be 5'9", 125lbs and speak Spanish fluently as anyone with half a brain could figure that was wrong rather quickly, so she changed that part around. Then, she resurrected a murdered escort to "support" her claim of actually writing my words. It was unbelievable...just unreal. I thought to myself, "This is a person with no ethics and/or moral standards whatsoever, evidently."

She kept it up there for the longest time after repeated requests to remove what was my intellectual property. Finally, she managed to string a sentence together (either that or stole it from someone else) and my content was removed.

I am a fairly mild and laid back individual. Things don't normally irritate me. However, there are two places you don't go - children (mine, yours, or any one's) and intellectual property.

It's the same thing with these very dodgy "escort directories" that steal ads off of legitimate directories. No, I didn't put it there, and I do not want it there on your screwed up, dodgy site. I want to be in control of where information that is put in my hands actually goes so I can protect people. Then they won't take it down when you very respectfully and congenially ask them. You have to threaten with lawyers and that is just so incredibly silly. I have better things to do.

I wasn't flattered in the least bit when my entire site was plagiarised. I was royally and wholeheartedly  PISSED OFF.

If you want to tell the world about yourself, then do it your darned self. Don't be a lazy a$$ and steal other people's sh!t.

The material on your web site is copyright material. Not that you officially have had it copyrighted, but in the fact that the material on your site is your own work, your own thoughts and or was purchased from a third party source for your benefit. This makes it copyright material.

Little do most know but copyrights are strictly enforced in this country. Yes, even for this industry.

My advice-

Send the company a message to immediately cease and desist, a written letter is better but probably not practical in this scenario. Contact the Admins via the "Contact Us" button and describe the situation just as you have above. My guess is that they will act very quickly to resolve the situation.

Lastly, contact the web server and notify them of the copyright infringement. I'm sure they will shut the site down quickly as they don't want to be a party to copyright infringement.

Any person who chooses to blatantly steal the content and workmanship of another is nothing more than a thief and a mindless ass.  Sometimes both.

Don't sit around crying that you have been wronged, go step on their throat and get your message through loud and clear.

This is excellent advice and, what I have found, the most effective.

In my most difficult case, (and I have had more than just one, believe me), there was this website based out of London and run by an Eastern European gentleman that had an ad up there, originated by me, stolen by him, and he refused repeated email requests to remove it.

I called him up and said, "Listen, buddy, don't eff with me. I have just contacted your server and they want no part of this. Either lose the ad or lose your whole scene. Your choice, mofo."

Magically, the ad came down the next day. Don't believe these a-holes that want to pad the inventory so that they can make money. Take control of your sh!t.

It's theft of content, pure and simple. It's underhanded dirty tricks and anyone doing this should not be rewarded with terms like flattering. If you guys are seeing girls you know are pulling this crap, shame on you.

Guys, do your homework. We say this over and over again and it seems to go in one ear and right out the other. Do not give your business to agencies or providers who are known to be stealing content. Ladies, do as FT suggests and contact the offending site's webmaster and demand the content be taken down immediately or face a lawsuit. If they don't pull the content, contact a lawyer and go after them. Yes, this can be expensive but I bet there are lawyers among us would be more than happy to issue a cease and desist order on your behalf.
