Does anyone know what happened to "www.koreanpalace.us" all of a sudden
*!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 3.2 Final//EN"* *html* *head* *title>Index of /*/title* */head* *body* *h1>Index of /*/h1* *ul>*/ul* */body>*/html* There may be a file structure in place, but it's hidden from the public view and access. And those 404 requests make it seem as though everything is gone. No matter what's left, "Index of/" is the only thing it's displaying. And all it is, is that display title. This isn't a .php or .aspx. or any form of an actual website. Merely a post-it note. *edited to correct a grammatical error on my part, oops.
Most of the links when you search Korean Palace Chicago (models page, etc.) come up with a 404 Page not found. http://www.koreanpalace.us/ gets you a blank Index of/ page. Last night, one of the links led to a page that said something on the order of, "OK, now here is the deal. The next time you send your advertising to our Islamic countries ..." with a long list of threats; which made me think the site has been subjected to some kind of denial-of-service attack. That page seems to be gone now.
A Denial of Service attack would make the site unresponsive, slow to load, if at all, etc
From you you saw it sounds like they got hacked and the home page was replaced with a "message" by the hackers. Usually they destroy the contents of the website, all the underlying pages and so on, forcing a backup to be uploaded etc....
