I have been a TER member since 2001. I was active in the hobby up until 2008 when I met someone and was one of those unusual dudes who didn't play on the side.  That relationship ended last fall and now I'm interested in hobbying again.  One problem: I don't have any recent referrals.  I've been turned down a few times, understandably.  (I was once registered with RS2000, but I'm not sure if I've be acceptable after so many years.)

Been out of the game for a few years myself.  Thinking about getting back in also.
