Any suggestions on which verification site is the best if I had to pick just one?

I am uneasy about RS2K since I had a blacklisted prospective verify his active membership. Your RS2K membership information that you have to provide to a provider is your first and last name, phone number, and city/state. Compared to P411 and Date-Check, this provides for less anonymity if that is what you are seeking. Also, RS2K is mostly unknown in a considerable number of major cities.  

I would highly suggest Preferred411 and Date-Check. P411 is more popular in Chicago compared to Date-Check. At least the two are more universal than RS2K.

None of these sites are perfect. P411 is my personal favorite. Better selection, more areas, better search engine.

RS2K could be better.

I only see TER reviewed ladies, or ladies from agencies with ladies with many reviews and so far I have not run into a situation where I wished I had not given up my RS2K info mentioned here.

I do read time after time about what can happen when ladies have this info even over what may seem like a small issue a guy and provider may develop with each other. I think RS2K would be doing more of a service to the guys also if they were allowed to keep their anonymity. Give up your real info to RS2K to be verified and checked out is fine. It is my opinion that at the point that RS2K gives their seal of approval that RS2K should assign you a membership\code#\hobby phone# and allow you to choose an alias\handle. You should then be verifiable using the alias\handle and the membership\code#\hobby phone#  The provider can verify you against RS2K's seal of approval using that data. So far I have given up my RS2K info to many. I worry EVERY time if this is the time I'm giving my real name and info to LE or to someone who may later decide for whatever reason the whole world needs to know who I am.

The other thing that would make RS2K better would be if the guys can easily check to see if they have been verified. Lady "A" says she accepts RS2K for verification. I call lady "A" and give her my RS2K info. It would make me more comfortable to be capable of verifying lady "A" or anyone for that matter checked me out against the RS2K seal of approval and when. I am 99% sure, on my last appointment in fact, that I was not verified after being asked if I was an RS2K member. It went like this. me:"I would like to meet you."  her:"do you have verification with a verification site? P411, date check, RS2K? references?" me:"Yes I am an RS2K member for the past 4 years." her:"great how about tomorrow at 3pm?" me:"sounds good I will contact you around 2pm for directions". her:"Great talk to you then" me:"don't you want my RS2K info???" her:"oh... yes" Now in all honesty, I don't know if she was going to ask me for it on our next call, or not at all, but it sure would be nice to know if she did or did not verify me. I would have been a lot more comfortable knowing I was verified.

I know the site has a great reputation, but I still cover my own ass just in case. I've lost clients that way as they don't like giving out names, but that's ok. I just can't see how a couple of people can cover all our asses. That's why I like to hear from a couple of resources that a guy is legit. I just feel better. Also, I don't trust that something can slip through the cracks when dealing with so many hobbyists/providers... And I don't see RS2K hitting their screening from different angles. I think these guys should have OK's every 3-6 months to keep up their status. A lot can change in six months.

Thanks all! This was very helpful. Looks like I'm going with RS2K.  
While I've never had a problem with seeing providers in the past, I've recently decided to change my approach and see a more upscale provider instead of searching BP and hoping to get lucky.  
I've had my eye on sites like ECE & wetnwild. I thought this would make the whole process easier and safer.

You're smart to ask for both. Diligent screening requires multiple verification tools.  

I've become less and less of a fan of RS2K.  I know many of the ladies like it. However, I have seen women use a guy's RS2K info for nefarious purposes over minor issues.  Yes, it does happen, despite the repeated assurances from the ladies that it doesn't and won't happen.

From all the girls I have made friends with, the general consensus is that RS2K is the best and most trusted site. And I do agree.
