Of visiting your city next month while I am on the east coast tour! I was wondering if you ladies and/or gentlemen can help a vixen in distress out?! I just need an idea of where to stay.. I want to make sure it is convienent, and comfortable for everyone. I look forward to visiting your playground.. I am already dripping with exxxcitiment just thinking about it

I'm partial to Ohare or Schaumburg, but that is primarily related to my lack of downtown-time these days. Hope to see ya!

Midway is easy to get to and from Schaumburg or the Oak Brook/Lombard/Naperville area. Southwest doesn't charge bag fees.

O'Hare is more expemsive all around and a difficult airport to navigate.

I love Southwest don't you?!  I am glad that you told me about Midway instead sugar.. I want it to be as convienent and comfortable as possible.. Thank you for the advice. You rock!

For those of us up north, Midway is too far. Easy airport to fly in/out of if you can tolerate southwest, but takes a long time to get there. Generally not a good area to stay to get the most coverage. That's why Downtown, O'Hare, or Oakbrook are generally the popular spots to stay or split time between.

Midway is in a pretty bad neighborhood. Best bets are Schaumburg or OakBrook. Many hobbyiests won't go downtown.

As I'm not downtown I have to give my recommendation of staying in the Lombard/Oakbrook area as a first choice, and then O'Hare.  Lombard/Oakbrook is convenient to many of the suburbs, is easy to get to from either airport and always has free parking.

Damn you guys rock my world!! Thank you for all of the helpful info I want it be as convenient, as it is comfortable for all.. I can hardly wait!

Midway is where you should fly to/from. Don't hobby there. Hobby in Oak Brook/Lombard, central to the expressways.

It's about as easyto get to Oak Brook/Lombard from Midway as from O'Hare, with less airport hassle. It's about 15 or 20 minutes farther to get to Schaumburg

Fly into Midway and stay somewhere around the Magnificent Mile. See some of this great city.
