This Friday marks the passing of a dear friend of the Chicago TER Community and many hobbiests and ladies. Highandtight died in 2008.

He was a friend to his many "wives" and to all he met, regardless of gender. He was a great story-teller and an even better advice-giver. His sage counsel helped me get started, along with many others.

I did not write the linked tribute, nor do I know who did. But it describes Highandtight quite well, followed by his own comments and tributes from some who knew him better than I.

A friend to many of the ladies and gents on this board.  He was the board's self-appointed welcoming committee, greeting new providers to the area and welcoming new hobbyists to the board.  His sense of humor will be missed.  

In many ways, he made this board a better place.  Whether you liked him, were ambivalent or didn't get along with him, you had to admit that he made this board a friendlier place with his funny postings and irreverent humor.

Wrote funny shit on this board. Had his own unique and quirky sense of humor, but was very much a pleasure to talk to about anything in private. Continue your RIP HighandTight.

Its been like two yrs since's his passing. He was a great guy,I miss his funny story's and his sometimes lame jokes. J was a friend to all he met, and I hear a great hubby to his many wifes.RIP my friend be seeing you some day.

I don't know of anyone who didn't get along with him. At worst, perhaps they ignored him, but how could anyone not get along with Jim?

I was new to the community, but I remember meeting you, Crystal Sky and H n T at on one of the old Meet & Greets.  He was very friendly and a true gentleman.  Some people were hanging out on the balcony, some stayed in their seats, but H n T was moving around talking to everyone.
