Longer answer: Based on the article, I assume she is being charged with solicitation.  Generally,  the state has to prove is that she offered to perform a sex act in exchange for money. I suppose you could argue that a lesbian would never offer to have sex with a man in exchange for money, but if that is your best defense, it’s time to think about copping a plea.

It could have been a slap on the wrist but these two are headed for trouble and the kind of scrutiny that will make you say why in the fuck did I do that? If LE did this as a sting and did it properly (no coercion) then I am thinking this group will fall on their collective swords (dildos) and have a good cry and a beer.

That defense is flimsy at best.  I'm sure there is strong evidence that she has been involved with men in the past (the article mentions a fiancee), which is all it would take to kill a lesbian defense.  Just my logical opinion, I'm not a lawyer.
