A good friend of mine was robbed and beaten by a Chicago cab driver.  The worst part is the cops treated her like it was her fault.  She Lost her money and all her luggage and was left by the side of the road to fend for herself.  Be careful out there!

Whenever a victim of a crime is treated like it is their fault, it shows a complete crack in our society. We can quibble about the ethics of the hobby life all we want, but this sort of action is repulsive, and the cops reaction is even worse. I hope your friend is okay, all things considered.
