I'm curious to hear some feedback from others on the generosity of such high marks for such a large number of escorts. In my opinion the scores of 7,8,9 and 10 should be reserved for the truly top of the line escort. Does anybody else feel that the reviewers are being far too generous with their ratings? Just curious.

Well if that lady truly enjoys her work and leaves the client satisfied, then isn't that enough?  One man's 10 may be another man's 7 which leaves enough room for a potential client to still make a reasonable decision to see her if she is his cup of tea.  Even a lady with a bunch of 8's, 9's, and 10's can easily earn a 2 on a bad day.  It happens.

If any lady has a sufficient number of high marks, then I would assume that she is well liked and highly skilled in her line of work.    Besides, what is a "truly top of the line" escort since you failed to state your personal requirements for such a title?  Just remember that variety IS a good thing.

I have to agree with gond... I've noticed people's numerical rating and the details of their review to be a contradiction to each other.  For instance, I've read where the client was satisfied, thought the gal was wonderful and would see her again, but then puts a 6 for a performance score.  Just basically average on a scale of 1-10.  Another example is when the same reviewer gives a bbw provider an 8 then gives a slender, busty hard body provider an 8 as well.  There is a big difference between the two body types and they deserve a different rating... and remember, your rating is the entire body, not just the face.

Now there are different strokes for different folks and if a bbw is an 8 in your book, then clarify that in the review by mentioning you prefer bbws over slender girls.  I've had guys tell me that since the performance was a 9, they thought they would give her looks a higher rating just to be nice.  I don't care if the gal was awesome in the sack... if she's ugly, then she's ugly.  Don't pad the looks score because of her performance.

This can be the difference in whether or not a client decides to see a provider so it's important to be detailed on the looks.  I remember an incident where I blew $$$$ because another poster told me that a particular provider had a "flawless" body.  Well when I first saw her, I wanted to run for the door!  Men's tastes are different, but it's important to clarify what your tastes are and there is plenty of room in the review section to do just that.

Well, how can you say that BBW's do or don't deserve an 8 based on a non-BBW getting an 8?  Isn't this entire board based on reviews that are entirely subjective?  One mans version of "flawless" may be Pamela Anderson, while another man's version is not so extreme or unnatural.  The fact that you think you blew money over an experience is because you raised your level of expectations for the wrong reason don't cha think?

Don't providers create websites and take pictures for a reason?  It's not necessary for any reviewer to state what his preference is in any review for your benefit, especially if he has no preference or he found the woman to be hot even if she carried a few extra pounds.  That's what body types are for in the provider profiles.  Whether you prefer one type over another is what will determine the amount of research you are willing to do to find exactly what you are looking for.

I personally have received high marks and I am not a size 2, nor am I flawless, as I suspect most women aren't.  But that doesn't mean I don't look good enough to earn high numbers.  Regardless of what you personally feel is an 8 over what someone else feels is an 8, reviews are subject to an individuals experience.  What that person had to say about it is on THEIR scale of 1-10, not YOUR scale of 1-10.  To each his own, so learn to live with it and stop putting so much faith in other peoples individual opinions.

In response to observer, i completely understand that you can not argue taste. I also understand your point that everyone's reviews are based on their own personal experience. BUT, i don't agree with your statement that we should stop putting so much faith in other peoples individual opinions. If i'm not mistaken that is exactly what this website is for. It serves no other purpose. Have you ever read a movie review,gone to see the movie based off that review, paid for the movie and then felt like that was a huge waste of money? Well try multiplying the cost of that movie 30 times or even 40 times or even more. How do you think that would make you feel? The fact is, this website is the only opportunity that we have to get some type of indication of what our money is going towards. These reviews are not here just to give someone a forum to discuss their experiences. Hell they can do that in a bar with their buddies if they want. It is here to give an accurate description of the provider and of the experience so that other interested parties will know whether or not to "invest". It simply is all there is to go on. Because i certainly don't believe the day will come when an escort will allow me to "test the waters" and if i'm not happy then return my donation. So since that day is never coming i believe it is important to be as detailed and as accurate as possible for others.

Also, if i'm not mistaken i believe there are specific guidelines set up by TER in regards to using marks higher than 7 in your reviews. At least i thought i remembered reading that.

Just my opinion

Most providers have several reviews (several pages for some).  Why would you use one review to determine whether you would see one particular provider?  Read tham ALL and make a decision.

And for your info, NO I would not go out and see a movie based on ONE person's review.  I go because something about the advertising and popularity as a whole catches MY attention.  Basing my desires on seeing movies based on what one review says would kill my movie fetish.

And what does TER have to say about appearance ratings being higher than 7?  I dont think there are any for appearance, but in order to get a higher mark for performance, of course there are certain things one must be willing to do.  My entire point was based on looks, not performance, because we all know performance will always be YMMV.

I agree we all have different scales, but as I stated in my post, it helps if the reviewer elaborates on the reasons why he gave a particular rating.  I wasn't saying a bbw didn't deserve a lower score, but if the same hobbyists sees two provider's with totally different body types then it would make sense that he gives them two totally different ratings for body appearance.  What's the point of ratings if we give every woman the same score?

The experience I was referring to where I believe I wasted my money was regarding a provider without a website and having no pictures.  She was rated highly on the Heaven or Hell website and as I interacted with another hobbyist who had seen her, he knew my criteria and still told me she was "flawless".  For the record, I believe Pam Anderson is a 10 and her body style is what I look for in a provider, and this particular hobbyist knew it.  

I think the original intent of this thread was to get clients ratings to be LESS subjective and more standardized.  I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but why bother with numerical ratings if we can give a 9 for any body type.  I think the ratings should be eliminated and reviewers be required to provide more details about looks.

With regards to the analogy of providers and movie reviews... well I never paid $$$$ to watch a movie.  I don't think there is anything we can compare this hobby to simply becuase of the costs involved. I can handle blowing $30 - $50 and being disappointed... but $400??? No Way!!
