This may be a dumb question, but do providers have a problem with an alias attached to the email address I'm contacting them with? I'm attached so I don't want to use my phone for contacting, however the name on my hobby email is an alias, so when it comes time to getting verified it seems providers become lost on who I really am. I just would like to know other peoples take on contacting providers through email, it seems I'm not getting many responses from providers...

However, the reason you may not be getting a lot of responses is because you don't want to use your phone for contacts. A lot of the screenings will require a phone number for quick contact and confirmation. One suggestion is to get one of those pay as you go dumb phones. You can grab one easily at Walmart or Target. Just keep it where the SO can't find it LOL!

Some ladies require that you contact them from a work email address, but definitely not all.  Plenty of clients use hushmail or similar. :-)

I agree with the previous poster about the phone, though.  It is a very good idea to have a prepaid hobby phone. ;-)

Just FYI: 9o% or more of my clients are also attached, and I require all of them to contact me via phone. They manage, lol. :-)

I do offer the provider to contact me on the day of the visit, just not before due to not having a fixed schedule so its risky

is consistent. Make sure the email you contact providers from is the same as your TER email, P411 or Date-Check or RS email, etc... A provider can see these. If you say you are Client1@gmail, but your p411 says you are Hobbyist1@hushmail, there could be a conflict.

My email is my handle on TER, and is the same email registered with all my hobby activities. It just makes it easy to verify I am who I say I am when contaacting a lady. Even my phone displays my hobby name along with the number.

There have been a few times that another guy has tried to pretend to be me when contacting a provider... it is easy to prove that is not the case... and I always find out.

If your requests have your screening info I do not see what is the confusion.  This is very common, so either you are selecting newish providers or some that lack some a lil, ehem brains.

some tips either way....

When setting up said alias email for first and last name do not put actual names try something like i.e.  Daty Lover or Greek Enthusiast or Straw Streaker or Sippy Cup then make it or try to make it as close as possible to it for the email addy i.e.. [email protected] or [email protected]

This isn't complicated the way you may have it nor an unusual manner to do things.  It very well is who you are contacting.

Good Luck SippyCup, I mean Strawstreaker!

As a matter of fact, I *really* hope none of us here are using our primary civie emails for this sort of thing. I have heard of some girls requiring an email sent from a work address and things like that, but I wouldn't imagine that would be a requirement for the initial contact.

Are you not getting a response to your *first* email? If that's the case, you might want to switch email providers. Some of the free email servers are automatically marked as spam by other servers, so the girls may not be seeing your email at all.
