IMs, Sending money Western Union, Meeting at a Starbucks, and now out 5K? And no where did this feel like a scam? I think you are having fun with us or you are incredibly stupid.

Been a hobbist for over two years now and came accross this gourp who provided escorts in the Milwaukee & Chicago area.  This is a scam a major sense of the word and when you have an idiot like myself who fell for it hook-line & sinker, it does not help.  
I was contacted by one of girls through XXXMatch.com, she told me she would like to chat with me on IM and would not give much more information.  So I took her up on it since it didn;t cost me anything and chatted for about three nights.  Finally towards the end of the third night she les on that she was an escort and was wondering if I woul dbe interested.  She forwarded me some photos and I pressed on.  She told me that I woul dhave to work with her "manager" who would send me the details on how to "book" her.  Well it was a bit on the weird side, but he wanted me to posted $300 to him via Western Union to a place in the Phillipines.  So i did, the meeting was set to happen and she was to meet me for 4 hours and pick me up at a local Starbucks.  
Well needless to say, everything fell apart and now I am being faced with over $5K invested and everythign from seeing two girls at once for a full night to a single girl and everytime I was told I would get a refund on what was posted and not used but I had to send more money.  
So now I stopped, and I have heard nothing from anyone expect the original girl who is still tellin gme the only way to see my refund of the whole $5K is to send in more money.

Has anyone else been in touch with this group or heard of them?  Any ideas on how to track them down?

Assuming I follow your story correctly...you start by wiring $ 300 to some unknown location in the Phillipines...and then it became you are out $ 5,000.  There is a major hole in the story that I, for one, find hard to believe you would really have fallen for this scam like this.  But if this is true...perhaps we can discuss some property I would like to sell?  By the way..the link does not work!

There is quite a bit more to the story and you would see how I was sucked in but bottom line is....I was really dumb and I wish i could take it all back.  But I am hoping my stupidity will help a few out there from doing the same thing!

I have learned whenever you do anything in this hobby make sure the blood is in the big brain and not the other one.  You see a girl and it is easy to get fixated on her but, you must remind yourself she is just another girl.  Besides they almost always look better in pictures anyway.

While I wait, I am looking at some real estate investments in Venezuela - I hear there is a lot of money to be made there. And I have also heard about this guy, Madoff, who guarantees great investment returns.
