I spotted a conversation from March about men shaving down under. It seemed the preference from the ladies on that talk was for a man to be clean shaven. As a man I'm happy to oblige the ladies. HOWEVER, this is where is gets "prickly" for me. I've tried using a trimmer but it can only get so close. To the guys, how do I clean up the boys without incident?

It is a challenge for all to keep it clean downstairs.  There are many different products out there you can use. But that is all a matter of preference, some like to use shaving cream or oil before the shave or other will use hair remover so there is no shaving.

Many of us, have are own way of doing things so it is a matter of trail and error. I hope the error isn't razor burn.... lol

shaving cream, a decent razor, a mirror, and a "light" touch...

I'll just put it out there. (no pun intended....or maybe intended). I'm afraid of cutting myself under there. Up top, no problem. Down below, I need some tips that work. Any other than a razor?

Hello eddiejo,

This is what i use ....

You can go to walmart or amazon to buy this..

the product is call "Philips norelco bodygroom"

This is how i do it: Charge the unit overnight next when you are in the shower and wet you body parts.. Turn it on use it...

The unit is water proof....

I have shave balls and junior without fear...

The item has a lots of review on amazon and that is how i had no fear using it on junior and my balls too

For females you can use it too .....

You just confirmed what I read on several advice web sites and then the Phillips web site. I feel better now. Thanks for the advice.

Have you tried an electric beard shaver that shaves your face? A ladies electric shaver for legs would work also.  If you want it completely smooth, use an electric shaver, not an electric trimmer.

Happy Shavin

Someday I will cough up a giant hairball of pubes.
I think all the ladies can agree that we are both impressed and thankful when our clients groom.

completely shaved and bare is not necessary...
Trimming is a step in the right direction.
man-bush....yeah, please don't

I am not going down on a smelly, messy, bush...aint happening. You might want to try waxing or laser vs. shaving...that's going to itch.

Gotta be careful with the beard trimmer. Those teeth bite.

Believe it or not London, I shave and don't have a problem with itching. I use hair conditioner instead of shave cream so I can see better what I'm doing. It also feels so damn good! LOL

I'm talking about the close shave electric face shaver that don't have teeth and is a flat smooth shaving electric head. Just like ladies electric leg shavers. No teeth, just a flat smooth surface. Would be a good investment if it's a plug in rechargable also.

Been there, done that, sometimes little trickles of blood from nicks and they bleed for a LONG time, lol. Funny though, the nicks don't hurt when they bleed until I get in the shower. Damn water hitting the nicks stings like hell, OWWW.

Nice thing about scissors is you don't trim too closely (for the above mentioned reason, lol) so the pubes aren't stubbly. Leave the pubies a little longer so they don't rub your partner raw.

I found that suggestion in Playboy magazine about 30 years ago. Your secret has been out for a while now.
