Sorry you had a problem, but it happens.

Seems to me that you two are the only ones to fix this. If you haven't refunded his money, just do so and move on. Why have your reputation sullied over a simple matter? It doesn't sound like either of you want to settle it between the sheets and if that's the case, then the former is the only recourse, one would think. As for your VM, try resetting your phone to it original configuration, just make sure you've save all of your contacts. If that doesn't fix it, ditch the phone for a newer model. What unknown callers and a full VM have to do with each other is puzzling, then why this is even a problem that is on the boards is just as puzzling when the matter can be cleared up with simple communication on both sides.

Just take his perspective for one moment. He didn't get his nookie, discount not withstanding and your STILL holding his money, right? While this didn't have to played out on the boards, we're in complete agreement, but until he is made whole, he'll feel like you still owe him. I am certain he's been on the Chicago scene for a while, so I don't think he's attacking you per se but telling the tale from his perspective. Perspective is the key word. It's ten times over obvious that you and him see this very differently. Hence, the post and the only way to end is to get his money back to him as your first priority.

It was an unfortunate situation and if Oneperday had given you all of the details of our conversation and email exchange that was exact and up to date giving him a play by play of what was happening. He had decided to eat and I waited 'til he was done. Yes, I was running behind-it happens with me-anyone who knows me knows that, but people don't mind when I give sooooo much time over what has been requested. I don't like phone calls as communication and there is a glitch with my voicemail that I cannot empty it- but he got ahold of me-20 minutes after our scheduled appt I am sorry for that but I get caught up in the moment and I get behind.  He had tried to reschedule 3 different times, I asked for prepays for that very reason that oneperday got upset about-he had scheduled, rescheduled, asked for a different time and day and I didn't have any space whatsoever, because I had commitments to people who trusted to prepay me, and had amazing times with me. It was a choice for him to save money just like everyone who has taken advantage of it. I have given hours of service and I have discounted hours of moments.  For his experience of disappointment- which I am sorry for-there are dozens of people who did take advantage, had an incredible time and put the savings in their pocket for another use. These are people who have met me, not met me, wanted to meet me, etc. Also, he did not note that the first thing I said when he got an attitude after he got done eating was, I will be glad to refund your money- it is probably best that we don't get together. I am being blasted for being 20 minutes late-I kept in contact, awaited his go ahead and offered him his discounted donation back- it, like I said is unfortunate, but there are too many people with extra dollars in their pocket now who have beautiful memories in their back pocket as well. So sorry Oneperday, but thank you to those that have received my discount, trusted me and knew that it was for the right reasons and for the beautiful memories we had...Like my couple who for the 3rd time drove 4-6 hours one way-they put the extra savings to their kitchen remodel-or maybe it went to her sex toy fund...hard to tell!

So he decided to grab a bite while waiting for you because you were late, but was not done eating when you were done being late?  I can only assume you haven't fixed your phone because your retiring.  If your Chicago is not your last tour date you might want to fix your phone.  It sounds like a little better communication could have fixed this.  Providers that let their vm and email fill up tend to appear to be less professional.  This sounds like new behavior to me.

Piper is absolutely the finest provider/ woman/person on the scene. We all know she is totally in the moment with a client and this guys lack o patience and understanding is unfortunate

For my .02 Piper, you seem to make a defense that this happens alot with you but most people don't mind because of the wonderful time you provide.  That's fine for most people but everyone isn't the same; and some of us have tight schedule/windows of opportunity to play, so it becomes a real inconvenience and a HUGE disappointment.  I've never met you, you have a fantastic reputation but I think you would be better served not playing the "this happens all the time with me but I always make it up to you in the session" card and just say I'm sorry, it shouldn't have happened and refund his money.  I've experience a very similar thing with someone here in Chicago who has fabulous reviews as well but it doens't make it any better for me.

The point is that I am owning up to my responsibilities and am giving his money back- but I was 20 min late and couldn't be reached and he feels he should blast me when I only offered the discount to help him. In my case the prepayment option worked out great.  Saw Piper Sunday night in Chi along with my wife.  I did the prepayment option, paid it a month ago and I never worried about her not showing up.  Piper is the only person whom I would ever pre-pay that I have met.  I put enough trust in her the first time we met to drive 6.5 hours one way to see her and bring along my wife for "her first time"  that pre-paying her for our latest encounter just didnt seem like a big deal to me.  When Pipers says she wants people to have great memories of her encounters, again she is the only person I have met who I believe when they say that.  The second time we met Piper she was in a different city, and was a complete fluke that we were in town and Piper was supposed to be leaving town to head home and she changed her flights, stayed another night just to give us another thrill ride.  This last time, Sunday, 4 hours to chi-town, one stop along the way for toys, one for Piper and one for the wifey and another night my wife will never forget which was supposed to be 3 hours and went more like 6 hours.  
I would prepay again with Piper without question whether it was a "discounted rate" or a normal rate.  

Piper, you say that you get a lot of unknown numbers calling you so that prompts you to use text and email. He said he emailed you as well as calling you. Did your email not work either?

Also, was your phone not working for making outbound calls? Did you think of calling him to find out where he was since you two had an appointment scheduled?

There are these things called "paragraphs" that really help convey messages in an organized and EASY TO READ format.  Try 'em ...  and don't forget periods (.) to end a sentence.  If I see one more message without periods I'm gonna scream!

If you feel you did your best, then move on. Refund the money and be happy you didn't have to go through an appt with an irrate client. There are 3 sides here: his, hers and the absolute truth. Has even a few days passed yet? Why was this even put out here when clearly the conflict is still being resolved and (it seems) was on the way to being financially resolved without arguement.

I swear, people shouldn't be allowed to post about this stuff for 7 full days- enough time for issues to be resolved, steam to blow off and heads (both of em) to clear. We create more chaos and BS when 9/10 times it gets resolved off the boards anyway. All these "look at me" posts just use up the moderators time, hurts peoples feelings, puts other posters in poor light ( depending on just how moronic their responses are) and takes up board space.

You got ripped off with NO response and need to warn others? LE warning? Hurt? Blackmailed? Bait and switch? Ok let the guys know. But that's not what happened here. This was a communication snafu. She said from day 1 I'll give you your money back. Now if in 7 days that doesn't happen ok tell it like it is. But give the communication some time before you trash a VERY Reputable provider.

And BTW this isn't a W K speech, it's a common sense one.

It is not even 24 hours- you are very sweet and correct-my feelings are crushed

I am being attacked by people I don't even know. I only did one thing wrong-I was late without communication. I said I would refund his money as the first thing out of my mouth. I am so hurt because I have shown so much love and caringness and tirelessly gave of myself, my energy, my finances ( I love to spoil) for 4 years. I have almost 200 reviews reiterating that. I don't care about my reputation- enough individuals have vouched for that, but why would someone want to slam me when I am leaving the hobby, this community and specifically Chicago in 4 days? Well, he chose to publically bring it out, I only find it fitting to give my reasons. It really doesn't matter anymore.
Do you know why I was running late? Because I was getting extra fixed up so that I could go down and treat this gentleman to a nice romantic time and buy him some drinks and appetizers. He was giving himself his Christmas gift and I wanted to make it extra nice. That is why I gave him the discount, was propbably going to be with him a couple of extra hours if possible to give him a beautiful experience. Look at the people above- I go the extra mile 'cause I want to. I change travel schedules, create situations so only one person can have a great moment, buy gifts, listen for hours and hold people even if we aren't "financially" doing anything. I would do anything for anyone- my friends know that. I was really looking forward to an amazing week and because of certain individuals I have had that-thank you. This is just plain unfortunate and I am incredulous as to why people joined the bandwagon to the degree they did for what? Thanks for a great sendoff Chicago.
