Now that you mentioned it, I'm starting to see some red flags based on the CL ad you showed me.
1. "No license required" --- 'nuff said. Even though their official site said their workers are LMT's.
2. "Attractive appearance" --- businesses are prohibited by law from hiring based on appearance, unless they classify their workers as entertainers. Tilted Kilt makes this classification, so that they can select waitresses with good looks and big breasts. Hooters, by contrast, does not, hoping that only the "right" candidates will submit applications.
3. "Take home cash" --- which makes them comparable to dancers in strip clubs.
4. "Opportunities to model" --- no comment on this, but it does raise questions.
All this said, I'd still say they're more like a strip club than a provider. Or even like *those* defunct venues from mid 2000's, like O'Hare Girls or Debbie Does Lake Street. (Both got lambasted on TER.) I wonder if this place will be eligible for getting reviewed on TER, even though it's not a hobby venue. Or if it is, which alderman they paid off and how.
