Agree.  I wouldn’t send money to someone you’ve never met, and if you’ve already seen her, she shouldn’t need a deposit.

I reached out to Robyn Grace on 11/24 about meeting yesterday in Chicago. She responded same day instructing me how to pay the $300 deposit. I paid the next day and never heard another word from her. A couple days later I e-mailed and asked her to confirm receipt of the deposit, crickets. I know nothing happened to her because she continues to update her Tryst ad. She had reviews at some point but is now delisted. If she used to be legit, she definitely isn't now. I'm an idiot for going against my better judgement and trying to see someone without reviews, a mistake I'll never make again. And I'm an idiot for paying the ridiculously high deposit. Learn from my mistakes. Stay far away from this rip off bitch.

I very sorry this happened to you and I hope by some miracle you get your deposit back.  And thank you very much for informing the community.  I hope this post is allowed to stay up so your warning will be on record for a long time.

You can report her to tryst . Make sure you include any proof.   I had an issue with a provider and the took her after down.

I met Robyn twice a few years ago and she was lovely,  provided great services and was very professional. Surprised to hear this

So sorry you were ripped off.  Unfortunately in this biz deposits of any amount in any form are usually a bad idea.  I am sure there are some providers that would disagree but that's how I see it.

There was a time when the hobbiest could trust the provider. Those days are long gone. A request from a provider for a deposit or a booking fee is a red flag.
