Does the Chicagoland area have any of these types of events?

There used to be one on Halloweens (never made it myself), but I believe the host said last year's was the final one they were putting together.  I've thought about trying to put something together, but it seems like a pretty sizeable endeavor, and I'm buried with regular work currently.  Would love to attend if someone can put something together before I get to it.

They are a lot more work rhan most people realize.  
Assembling a list of people who'll attend is just one of the issues.
I needed to take a break from hosting and organizing... Getting up there in age lol

I can only imagine.  When I get the time to take a stab at it, I'm sure I'll be reaching out for some advice and tips.  I heard great things about the ones you hosted in the past.  I regret missing them.
