Hello fellow gents!  Want to share a very disappointing experience from earlier this week.  There was a provider I had my eyes on (she only does outcall), she had one very positive review on TER, and the review was from a guy who has plenty of other reviews, both good and okay, and seems like a legitimate and honest reviewer.  I don't mean to call BS on his review, but my experience came nowhere close to his.

Unfortunately, this can and does happen.  It's really unfortunate when it does, especially when it's a legit NCNS.  No contact whatsoever? She answered your friend's appointment request? Totally lame and inexcusable.  I value my time, and know how irritating it is when a client NCNS; I'd never dream of doing that to a client.  Time is a high-value commodity.  

But he did drop money on a hotel room, which I'm guessing was more than gas and parking.  Me thinks said provider should have to pay a cancellation fee to cover the cost of the hotel room (he says "tongue in cheek").

You told us you got stood up by a provider, she never answered your texts, for 48 hour. But you never said what  
her name is. The story is pretty useless, without a name how are we to know to avoid this lady.

I do not like these stories because we have all been there. Both hobbyists and providers. I understand when you have to pay for  the room or the gas or the snacks/beverages (that I always provide).
Hope it goes better next time.

Respect is a two way street.  If a provider confirms, the guy drops money on a room and then gets stood up, she should be publicly identified (provided he makes effort to make sure nothing bad/unfortunate has happened to her).  I had a similar situation recently where the provider confirmed for 8pm, then said 830, then 9pm, then 915 and then 930 and then didn't show.  And I was the "jerk" because I identified her publicly although she admitted my side of the story was, in fact, correct.  If you want respect, show respect.  It's that simple.  Just as reviews can be used to identify bait and switch, fake pictures, bad attitudes, etc, there needs to be a forum for identifying those who are disrespectful and unprofessional.  In my opinion, this is it.

OK. She NCNS on you. Now go find another Provider.

Isn't there a place here to post info about lame providers. I know I saw something once just not sure what it is or was.  It's not cool to make someone waste their money and time getting a hotel room.  Seems as if she knew from the get-go she was doing this...  I wonder why.  It's wierd.

Another reason to just post her name publicly and get it over with; why should you be penalized and have to answer dozens of PMs because of her lack of respect???
