What if you set up an appointment and when the provider came to the door it was OBVIOUSLY a bait and switch?  Do you tell her to go away?  Invite her in and just try to make the best of it or maybe give her some gas money to keep things from escalating but cancel anyway?

I think if you are careful with your research and only see reviewed ladies you will not get bait & switched. But if you do, I think you have every right to walk away, no questions asked.

Everyone should say no to bait and switch and bad service. You will be doing her a favor. Think of the cosequences for her if she tries it on someone with violent tendancies or someone really unpleasant having a bad day.

"I'm sorry, you must have made a mistake" and then I'd close the door.

If I was going to her place I would politely say, "I'm sorry, I've come to the wrong place." Then turn around and leave before entering the room.

This is not to be confused with the other possibility where it's the correct gal, but she is older than her pictures. This has happened but it's usually quite subjective as to how much the perceived difference is in age and almost always due to blurred face pictures. I've always stayed and am usually glad I did. I much prefer a 7/10 experience vs. a 10/7 anyway and that is my mindset when evaluating reviews.

The obvious answer here is to only see well reviewed ladies. But sometimes, you just find yourself in a bind on short notice and you roll the dice on an educated / instinctive TOFTT.

I always ask if the picture is real & accurate (of course they'll always say yes, or just hang up). If when she shows up and I'm not happy with her degree of lying I have zero problem sending her packing.

Just tell her that she lied and I want her to leave.   You'll get a sob story here and there, just throw her $20 for gas and tell her that bait and switch is like stealing and if she false advertises then she should expect this to happen sometimes. Just be adamant and she'll get the picture.

Replies like that are extraordinarily unhelpful and useless.  "Stick to well reviewed providers, do your research" is a religious mantra that is mindlessly repeated all the time.

Its a given and serves no purpose to say when someone asks about a situation when that obviously wasn't applied.

It's never happened to me.  More than likely I would go through with it, and then notify people it was a fake.  When you TOFTT  you are assuming more risks.

It would depend on how bad the dishonesty was.  I've met a few girls who were not the girls in the pic, but were a close enough approximation(asian providers) and went through with the appointment.  Also as some others mentioned, you may see a picture that is a couple of years old.  If those couple of years just resulted in a different hairstyle/color or a few extra pounds, I'd probably still go through with it as I do not go to a provider based on the appearance rank only.  I'm there to have a great experience, and if a provder is good, but maybe has laid off the tredmill a bit, it probably doesn't mean that the experience will be bad.  However, if those couple of years have resulted in a severe change in body type, it's a good bet that a)there's an intetional bait-and-switch with someone else, or b) a major change in the provider a-la drugs, drink, sickness or mental issues that will probably effect the experience....time to leave.

Example: I went to a hotel to meet a provider I saw on CL (pre TER discovery...don't yell at me).  In the pics she was blonde, youngish and of average to above averate body style.  The girl I saw was brown haired and late 20's with a skinny body.  I immediately asked her if she was the girl in the pics because she looked so different and she said the pics were about 2 years old but they were her.  I about faced and left as she was starting to undress(before I paid).  When asked why I was leaving, I said she was not the girl I came to see and I was sorry, but I didn't want to stay.  It's hard to think with the big head once you've gotten to that point, but she was either lying about being the same girl, the pics being 2 years old or there was a severe issue to age her that bad in 2 years....time to leave.

- "If it's not me, it's free!"...uh, yeah. I'm guessing that no one in the history of the hobby has ever actually benefited from this "guarantee", ever.

- If the pictures look too good to be true, and you can't find any reviews on them anywhere.

- "I'm available 24/7!"...sure you are; because there are *four* of "you".

There is one simple way to make such situations more honest: We live in an age where technology allows us to take and send a photo pretty much instantly. One way to confirm that the person in the pictures in the ad is the person you'll meet is for them to take a picture of themselves holding a piece of paper displaying the current date and time; this is called a "timestamp" on some sites. If a provider isn't willing to do that to remove any doubt, they probably aren't who they say they are.

I wouldn't ask this of providers who have plenty of good reviews and are well known; but I wouldn't hesitate to ask this of someone with little to no reviews at all.

I echo what others have said here about politely telling her that she's made a mistake when she comes to the door; although I am not giving her $20 gas as PeterPickle suggests. You're rewarding her deception by doing that, Peter. This is like giving a mugger that $20 you had hidden in your sock in addition to your wallet, watch and phone.

Oh, and if she calls you back to find out what happened, ***don't answer***. This is key: do NOT re-engage her in any way, as she has your address and phone number, and might "aim to misbehave" with said information. Then write a review to warn the rest of us.
