This isn't good!!! Found on another board.....30,000 names???? Holy crap.....that's ridiculous....WTF are they gonna do with the names and addys?? Subpoena all 30,000 to court??? I highly doubt it!! Ok ok ok....hip hip hooray you got the agency down....you want a cookie??.....that should be good enough.....but to bring the clients into it?? That's horrible....

Use this agency in years or whatever! That would be pretty damn stupid. What they're goin to have 30,000 ppl saying what they know about this agency? oh and have them really tell what they did with this agency...good luck trying!

they can't make the list public, so the only purpose in getting the list is to talk to the clients or just to see the list. Maybe one or more have agreed to testify, but probably there is some information on the list that indicates the defendants were providing them with prostitutes and the list itself is going to be used as evidence against the defendants. That would explain why the whole list needed to be provided, rather than just the witness list.

I do not see how this is a bad thing for the clients (beyond making them anxious) since the judge has forbidden public release of the list. It seems like everyone involved in the case is on board with protecting the confidentiality of the clients, which suggests to me there are some pretty powerful people on that list. The Carrs and their attorneys are going to be very careful with that list, lest they end up in contempt. Any my guess is that when the list becomes evidence in court, names and address info will be concealed.

Not a lawyer, I have no inside info and I do not use agencies (for this very reason), but I sure do not see this as a bad thing for the clients.

Seems inadvisable for a company like this to keep a client list. Keep it for perhaps a week. Then destroy it. A court cannot subpoena nonexistent records. And former clients needn't worry.

They want money and they want it the easy way. They ALWAYS keep client lists in one form or another and if you think they don't, you'd better rethink how this business works. And it's not just agencies, many indies keep client lists as well. Time is money so don't expect agencies or indies to throw out all your info and start over with screening each time. That's just being unrealistic.

I'm sure there are a few providers/assistants out there who don't store any records and hats off to them. Just realize that they are the rare exception. Whenever you give your info out, assume it's being stored somewhere. That's being realistic.

I'm sorry but I barely can keep up with phone numbers let alone a client list of names, what they likes, when we met, ect.. I hate paper work totally so I know once you are verified all that you have given me and told me goes out the window. If I have seen you and it's been over a year or two, then you would have to get verified over again. I don't do the client list.
