Okay I want some meat hehe. I have tried many places here and been offered a few suggestions. Asking for a few more... Any good places where I shouldn't miss eating? Price not an issue...just make it Delish! I'm easy as far as kinds of food.
I wasn't impressed with Smith & Wollensky personally. I did a 9900 day review of this board as I've seen your question before. Seems Gibson's is popular. Here are a bunch of reviews:
Tried one in another state, was really left wanting.
For this tier steakhouse I prefer Wildfire. For a really good steak I enjoy Gene and Gorgetti's, or for a little off the beaten path try the Erie Cafe in River North.
many many many years ago, a friend and I split a hotel room while we took the bar exam at northwestern. after the first day we were wiped. i went to the concierge or whatever they called themselves then and asked where i could get the best steak in town.
he sent us there and i have never questioned his choice since. i have eaten at ruths and at mortons and at gibsons. they are all absolutely good. even great. but the best meal ever is gene's

Thanks! I will go to one of the suggested places that I hadn't tried yet. Just always looking for something new! I find that many times it's the hidden gems that are the greatest!
