Any other suggestions than a burner phone, I am worried that will be discovered.

I have a type of calling card (via Reliance Global), but you can only make international calls with that. Are there other calling cards you can use locally (US). Problem there is they can't call you back.

THen I looked at google voice for my smart phone, but not sure how that would work?  Can I initiate calls with that so it doesn't show up on my phone bill? Any ideas

Just get a burner phone and keep it hidden.  If found, say it is an emergency work phone.  Just don't keep contact and call history info on it.

Actually, my wife works at the same place, and that's not something that would fly.
