Perhaps an absurd question, but has anyone ever had a good experience in a provider/civvie LTR?  Just curious.  Feel free to respond here or PM me.

It depends a bit on what you mean by LTR. I've seen a retired/utr lady for about eight years. She's not from Chicago, but travels here a bit for other work. We've traveled together, gone to Europe, and kept up closely with each other's lives. During this time she's married, had children and done a number of other things in her life. I usually provide her a gift, but not always. She insists on treating a bit too. As her family has grown and her life has become more complicated, we see each other less often these days.
All things considered, I've found this to be a harder relationship to manage than either strictly provider or civilian. There are blurred lines and rules and difficulties for both sides.
It's been a great time and I don't regret it at all but managing expectations can be a real challenge sometimes.

Thanks for sharing.  I've just started seeing my ATF after a hiatus of a couple of years; we both had our reasons for the time out, and it's been lovely to reconnect.  Like your friend, she is no longer in the business.  That fact has allowed us to evolve and deepen our relationship while at the same time introducing a lot more ambiguity and complexity than in the past.

She keeps me on my toes, I guess, in between causing them to curl in sheer spasms of pleasure.  Perhaps I'm crazy, but I guess I'm hopeful about happy endings on every level....

If I ever got married again or lived with someone after leaving my current wife, which I hope to do, the only type of woman I would ever consider is a provider or ex-provider. They are the best people.

I figure she would have the natural advantage of not being all hung on sex and there would also be a deep trust factor.  She would never have to hide the fact she was a provider and the man would never have to hide the fact he had been a hobbyist.   Good luck to all.

I am not sure that I am understanding what you are asking...

Are you asking about a long term relationship with a provider - or with a civvie? Or a provider dating a civvie?

If you meet someone in this world, I do not recommend dating them.

If you meet someone in the real world, and later find out she is provider - if you have your jealousy in check, it can work. I have a few friends that have other halves. But it all depends on how secure you are in yourself. And if you can understand that sex does not equal love. And love does not equal sex.
