Last year and well into this, I was after a large screen HDTV. Wifey kept telling me we couldn't afford it. "Ok," says, I, acting terribly disappointed. But to myself, I thought "I'll just put my extra cash into the hobby."

This year, all of a sudden, she says, "Let's get that big screen TV for our Christmas present to each other."

"Great," says I. But I didn't say I had that money (mentally) committed to hobbying. I doubt she would understand.

So, my little 6-incher is going to have to wait until the 47-incher (the HDTV) gets paid off. At least I'll have something better to watch when I'm not with the ladies. I wonder how porn looks in hi-def.

Sorry the little fella's gonna have to suffer. A tip: Don't buy a Sony. I bought a high end model and I'm very disappointed with the image quality. Yes, I know how to adjust the settings, thank you.

I have a Sony and I'm pleased with it. I was going to refer you to the Sony outlet store in Pleasant Paririe Wis. just over the boarder off rt 94.
Costco is also running some specials on line...

As for the set, it's an Insignia, Best Buy's house brand. I was told most major components are from LG. We're quite happy with it.

Major events viewed so far: the Army-Navy game Saturday, the Bears, Cowboys and Giants games on Sunday. Saturday's outcome was fine, but there were no adjustments to change the outcomes of Sunday's games.

I have a sony,love it especially at the price I paid.

Sony is the best hands down. Everything in my house, form TV and home theater system to a car CD player and cell phones, is Sony.

Anyway, my 52" Sony is fantastic. Bought it directly from Sony warehouse in New York almost a year ago.

in HD! Still does not compare to making your own porn though.
