Driving north on the TriState yesterday and saw two new billboards between 145th and 127th, one old school, and one on a new electrical one. Apparently someone is giving them some money to mount a marketing campaign.

The first said something like - "Think prostitution is victimless? Think again. Everyone involved is a victim." To which I wanted to reply, only if you guys get your way.

The second said, "Think no one you knows pays for sex? Think again." Just pumped my hand and yelled, yes! to that one.

Both directed you to their web site to get the "facts." Sort of like the people who claim terrorist attacks are staged as part of some grand government conspiracy - these people would not know the facts unless they hit them in the face, and then only if they supported the conclusions they drew long ago.

Trying to laugh, because their shit is so depressingly misguided, counterproductive and even malicious. They accuse others of doing what they want so very much to do - take away freedom and force people to live their lives the End Demand way. And the translation of their programs from theory to reality creates even worse results than what they intend (which is already awful). Lord save us from the righteous do-gooders who want to tell everyone how to live their lives.

That was hysterical.  And yes I was still wearing my slutdress in shame today downtown!

Just as the campaigns to end the consumption of alcoholic beverages went so well.

And remember the War on Drugs? We won that one, right?

As long as men have dicks and money, and as long as women are willing to rent what they have, there will be prostitution. You can't change human nature.

The entire premise of our hobby is that rental provides the pleasures of ownership without the long term committment. When both (all) pqarties are satisfied, the transaction is a success. All parties walk away happy.

 
 

I glimpsed these billboards at the CTA O'Hare Blue Line station.  I thought they were one of the service improvements introduced in the wake of the fare increase to $5.00.

billboards like that do the opposite of what they are hoping to do.  They hope to deter and make people vote against it.  However all it does is fill in those who have no idea how open this industry is and will bring more men and women into it.  Makes me laugh that it is just helping the industry gain more exposure and more people.  

The bad side effect is that with more attention more stings and cracking down will occur so ladies and gentlemen please be careful!  Hugs, Sage

Yeah, uh, nobody wants to see these stuffed shirt, jealous, powder-wiggeds' billboards but it's amusing that some of us girls just might "know" the very same men who back said nonsense!  Oh, the utopia we could partake in if it weren't for us pesky folks!

I'm kidding of course
