An oldie . . .

My nickname was always The Comedian (pre Watchmen).  Read on and see if it was meant sarcastically:

Joe bursts into Pete's apartment.  "My wife is with another man!"  
"That's terrible," Pete replies.
"Yeah, well, do you still have that rifle?"
"Yes.  Why?"
"Just grab it and follow me!"
So Joe drives Pete to a hotel and takes him to the roof.  "Unpack that thing," Joe says.  "Why?"  Pete says again.  "Just do it!"
Pete assembles the rifle and says, "Now what?"
"See that room in the hotel across the street?  Is my wife in there with another guy?"
Pete says, "You're right, she is."
Joe says, "Okay.  Now I want you to shoot that guy in the nuts, and shoot my wife in the head!"
Pete looks in his scope.  "You know, I think I can get them both with one shot!"
Da-dum!
