Well I have my first 'bad' review... Not too bad really. This is mostly for the fellas,  but ladies feel free to comment!
How many bad reviews does a provider have to receive for you to not see her? no I love view

One or two mediocre reviews ARE NOT going to drastically affect your overall ratings, or interest in seeing you . I pay attention to the review history of the hobbyist  and provider
Now a string of "poor" reviews may indicate that the lady may be having some difficulties at that time
Nothing to worry about ! !

there is no set number..good or bad..the reviews simply show a pattern..the pattern usually is consistent for the guy to make up his mind..some pull the trigger..others reload..

If I see a bad review, one of the first things I'll do is click on the guy's user name to see how he also ranked other girls. Some guys simply always rank lower. A 7 or 8 performance for most others would be a 5 or 6 for him. In your case, the only other review the guy left was also another 5. So I would tend to dismiss the 5 and think of it as an actual 6, 7 or 8 performance.

I also look at the review itself, not just the numbers.  In the case of your "bad" review I do not feel anything in the review comments warranted the scores that he had given you.  In some cases you see ladies with both low numbers and very negative comments in over 50 percent of their reviews.  I have no idea why anyone would even consider rolling the dice on a lady like that.  If I see 2 out of 10 bad service reviews I become skeptical since with my luck I would be one of the 2  and not one of the 8.  In my experience the the good providers rarely get what I would call bad reviews.  And, yes, I would love to come put some of my all natural lens coating on your glasses one of these days!!

One bad review isn't a pattern. Everyone has bad days and you can't be everything to everybody but if you rip off one guy (regardless of the reason) and get away with it, nothing to stop you from doing it again

Clarify !!!  I haven't read  or heard anything about
rip off  , don't know why it was mentioned !

I think he just meant if that was ever mentioned in even 1 review it would be a deal breaker.  At least that is what I think he meant.

I don't understand  why "rip off " would be associated with Ginger's post when there is nothing of that kind mentioned in ANY of her reviews  ( just my 2 cents )

I don't really have a bad review.. but I don't think it should affect it too much doll.. some people just really don't click or one person might not start the conversation right and it can throw off the whole mood of the date.. it wouldn't really change your overall score either

I said, "One bad review isn't a pattern. Everyone has bad days and you can't be everything to everybody".

A bad review by itself is just an indication that someone is human.

I also said a ROB review (IMO) is the third rail.

Never called her a ROB. I think her reviews are fine.

This is how train wrecks get started. You post the word ROB in a subject line and everyone thinks she's a rob. Don't do that! Comment about it inside the post but don't put it in the subject line unless she's a ROB!

Have fun on BP, lots of quality providers to be found there and lots of ROBs too. Fun.

Different strokes for different folks.... Won't worry too much about it... But as a provider your performance level should always be consistent ....

I had a fake review and despite fighting with TER and complaining about it on the boards, the review is irrevocable. I have potentials always ask me about that particular review and I always have to explain myself. Sure, one bad apple can ruin everything, but be prepared for questions.

If a girl is below a 7 average in the performance department, than she is probably off my list.

It's not about Ginger, that's why. He was simply expressing that he can deal with a mix of good and bad reviews, as long as there are NO rip off reviews. Why you think he is somehow insinuating Ginger falls into that category, is beyond me. I know the guy...he would just say it outright if that was the intent.

I always throw out the best review and the worst review. Just dismiss them and not even consider them. Then I look at the trends of the remainder. Someone will always give a review way out of kilter with the rest on both extremes. Hell, I've probably even done it myself. Different people have different tastes and turn ons/offs.

If I see a ton of bad reviews, yeah I move on, but I look at the reviewer as well. If there is an established hobbyist that gives a bad review, I tend to put some credence in it.

A couple of weaker reviews among generally good ones tend to make all the reviews more believable. I do look at the outliers, best and worst, and read them first. I also look at the reviewers to see how many other reviews they have, and whether the scores they give here are in line with what they normally give or are different.

I suppose there are three kinds of bad reviews (assuming you mean scores lower than your norm):

- The guy who is pissed off at the provider. Something went wrong with the date and he is getting even. It could be that the lady would not do something he wanted, the schedule got screwed up and he is angry, or there was some other communication issue that made him unhappy from the get go. Unless there is a pattern of this, I will ignore such reviews. And the aggrieved tone is not too hard to spot, IMO. My favorite is the pissed off idiot, like a guy who loves a particular physical type but goes to see someone who is completely different (and this is clearly indicated in her ads, web site and profile) and then gives her a low score on appearance with the explanation that he prefers his normal type. Anyway, I dismiss these reviews.

- The guy who is a tough scorer. He never gives above a 7 for anyone. The track record tells the story for these guys, and reading the review there is nothing negative, not a word, and often it ends with the traditional "Can't wait to see her again." This is a positive review, should be an 8 or 9 if he was almost any other reviewer.

- The truth teller. There are lots of reasons why we would all prefer to give ladies good reviews. Conflict avoidance, liking someone who is nice to you, peer pressure of all sorts and more. So some ladies will have a glowing track record despite their most glowing years being long ago, or perhaps never having arrived at all. They are good at working the system, which is not always a bad thing because it could simply mean they are truly nice ladies. Then along comes the guy who expected the 9/9 average to be both beautiful and to deliver a blissful experience and was disappointed on both counts. I pay a lot of attention to these reviews.

Thing is, the scores do not mean that much, and the body of the review only means something if the guy has a good track record, or provides enough detail that I can tell what he experienced and how it maps to what I will experience.

Sorry, there is no rule of thumb on how many bad reviews a lady can have and I still see her.

Hope that helps,
zig
