If I might suggest. Take your time and slowly begin to participate on the board. Get a VIP membership and do some research on the lady that you will be most comfortable with. My favorite, or any guys favorite here, might be a total turn off for you.

Secondly-  Your going to take a beating on the boards for a posting like this. Do your homework and don't ask others to do it for you.

Go check out the newbie board ("FAQ For Newbies" board under 'TER General Boards'). Read up, and ask your questions about how to be safe there. Learn how to use the search feature because the vast majority of questions have already been asked many times.

Checked out the legal board?  Theres some pretty good insight there on risk-assessment and, some fyi's on leos and stuff
