Pros:
PORN STARS- I mean current/well known Tasha Reign, Asa Akira, Ron Jeremy and many more!
They are so friendly and you can take pictures with them.

UP & COMING PORN STARS- You get to see some before they take off.

MAIN STAGE ENTERTAINMENT-They will have Ariel artist, sexy fetish fashion shows, give aways etc..
(This varies year to year)

SEMINARS- Are really fun and naughty. (GET to them early as seats fill fast!)

SIZE- It's manageable to get around the place and tons of fun booths with sexy toys and hot ladies strutting around half naked.

VIP- So you can go to the after parties and seminars!!!

Cons:

DAY TO DAY- The crowd size diminishes a bit.

CROWD- The day women can go free is the best day to go (Which is usually that Friday). PERIOD! Otherwise the crowd can be a little sketch.

SIZE- I think they should keep adding more booths and have more half naked ladies.

VIP- Some parties are great others ok. (Varies each year and city)

Overall:
EXXXOTICA Chicago isn't as badass as Vegas or Miami but is still fun to go to none the less.

I've never attended one of these types of conventions before, but am thinking of going this year. Can anyone share their experiences? Should I go? It looks like fun but certainly the web site can over sell the event. Is the VIP worth the extra 'dime?' The event is in about 4 weeks. Any ladies out there in Chicagoland area planning to attend?

I thought it was lame and over hyped. The VIP is not worth it in my opinion. Some porn stars don't even show up to the expo [even though they are advertised to be attending]. From what I hear, you are better off going to Las Vegas during the AVN.

Go once and get it out of your system. I did.

When was the last time you went to AEE in Vegas? It has really gone downhill.

BTW, AVN is who produces AEE (Adult Entertainment Expo) but you are right that it has become known as AVN.

I thought AEE this past January 2014 was TERRIBLE. I can understand that a providers perspective could be different than mine, but I've been going every other year for over 10 years now. Unless I get reliable word that something is dramatically changing I will not return. It was was far far better in years past. Now, the LV M&G during that week has always been epic. I will return to LV just for that event.

I went to Exxxotica Chicago 2013 for the first time last year and my reaction was, "this is not close to the quality of AEE". Well, actually it was. AEE 2014 was much closer to Exxxotica Chicago 2013 than previous years of AEE. But neither one is worth repeating.

Why?, I wondered. I asked around and I have to agree the answer is the proliferation of Internet porn. The production and distribution of porn has changed forever. It's harder than ever for big production companies to make a buck. The business model has changed.

As one example, in prior years at AEE there were dozens of top stars signing and posing with fans in pictures for free. That's really dried up and some were charging for their own pictures (i.e. you had to buy one of their pictures to get an autograph or picture. This charging for autograph access was the norm at Exxxotica Chicago. Of course a girl's gotta make a living somehow but I guess I've just been spoiled by previous years.

A couple of the live shows were pretty good at Exxxotica Chicago 2013. It wasn't a total disappointment.

As far as the gentlemen attending, picture a convention center for adults! It's booth after booth of sexy ladies wearing hardly anything! There is a DJ playing great music, food, and fun time! You can see state of the art adult toys and videos, there were even cars/stereos on display at the Ft. Lauderdale event, there are medical/healthcare practitioners, clothing, and pretty much a vast display of anything and everything with hot models on display.
