Everyone has his own budget. There are no standards.
Being in the TER community implies a certain level of appreciation for quality ladies. The ladies on the board seem to run 250 on up, with a possible ceiling of 1000 or so. The Elliott Spitzer crowd (4000/hr) does not tend to be on TER, at least not in Chicagoland.
How often you hobby depends on individual resources. Some go for quality weekly, while some may be able to afford once every 4 to 6 months. I say "go for quality" because if frequency was most important, they would follow BP and similar resources.
Do what is comfortable for you, and don't be concerned with others. I assure you, their circumstances differ from yours.

I've been a member and hobbier for some years and have contributed numerous reviews, but only post occasionally on the boards. I'm just curious, for my fellow hobbiers, how often do you hobby and what's your monthy budget ? The reason I ask is really thinking I may have an addiction

I have a run rate of 3-4 providers a month, varying from FBSM of the AMP or independent variety, to GFE sessions in the 250-300 range. So all in, probably a grand a month or thereabouts. Is that a lot pr a little by community standards ?

BTW, I don't review everyone for a variety of reasons, laziness, UTR-ness, and one-more-similar-review-doesn't-add-value-ness.

I'd be interested to hear the community's thoughts.  Please no flaming !!!

You can stretch your budget if you do some hard work and research girls on Backpage. There are some quality GFE experiences avialable in BP too under $200 per hour and $100 per half hour.

It's a hobby, not an addiction...

Some guys collect stamps, play with trains, restore classic cars, etc.  Well, our community's hobbyists our just the same way except their hobby is to try out the pleasures of different girls.  Therefore, the term "hobbyist".  

Your monthly budget is pretty low if you ask me!  You should put aside a little more for your hobby or maybe get another job.  In the spring you could mow your neighbors' lawns or maybe get a paper route!  I'm just kidding doll

I thnk you should broaden your horizons and try a higher end girl.  While we are more expensive, we are definitely worth it. You know the saying, "you get what you pay for".  It's sooooo true!

Well, just keep that unnecessary negative guilt out of your head (you must be Catholic haha). Just keep on playing with girls, it'll keep you young, stress free and happy
